Be Loved  Iria do Castelo & Ricardo O’ Nascimento

"Be Loved" is a multidisciplinary project supported by MAC Contemporary Art Museum of A Coruña (Spain), that researches the boundaries of love, the borders of attraction in bodies. Both artist will display a group of personal pieces in different media around this idea, love and eroticism, as a way to be more free being tied by someone.

Plexus Solaris  Frans de Winter

Het popnagelen van bandijzer: het materiaal en de vorm waarin het gebogen en verwerkt is, vertolkt de belichaming van de persoonlijke grens van een mens op zodanige wijze dat het pantser wel bescherming biedt; maar ook geen vernieuwing toelaat tenzij het pantser verbroken word. Die frictie wilde ik voelbaar maken in de serie van drie beelden die ik gemaakt heb alvorens het beeld “plexus solaris” ontstond.

Springsteel with blind rivets. The material and the shape in wich it is bend and processed, performs the embodiment of the personal border of a human being in such a way that the armor provides protection but doesn't permit innovation. Unless the armor will be broken. I want to create this friction palpable with my sculptures
