“Children of the Mountains” is a multi-media exhibition that will display paintings, ceramics, and poems by Priyam, along with the photographs of Robert Huber and Siddharth Narsimhan — all telling the story of an Indian town nestled in the ancient and beautiful Sahyadri mountains of Maharashtra: Jejuri. 

Robert Huber is a German photographer who has travelled extensively in India.

Priyam Redican is a Rotterdam based poet, educator, translator, and art therapist. She grew up in Jejuri, India, a small town which is home to a very important temple, and so alternates between being a quiet mountain community and a bustling center of colorful celebrations with an amazing diversity of dance, music, and festivities. www.priyamredican.com

In her collection “Children of the Mountains” Priyam takes the audience on a virtual journey of this beautiful town through stories -  told by the media of poems, paintings, ceramics, and photographs - of her childhood and young adulthood in the mountains.
